Why another calculator site?
Most calculator sites give you a number and nothing else. You are left trusting a black box on a page covered in adverts, with no way to check whether the tool used the formula you actually needed.
Calcura takes the opposite approach. Every calculator states the formula it uses, works through a real example with real numbers, and explains where the method breaks down — because a mortgage estimate that ignores PMI, or a BMI reading treated as a diagnosis, does more harm than no answer at all.
Built to be fast and private
There is no framework, no tracking of what you type, and no server round-trip. The whole calculation happens in your browser in JavaScript, which is why results update as you type and why nothing you enter can be stored or sold.
